Default Wind up the helmet

I have an '07 SG with a 8.5" recurve windshield and the fork air baffle. These two additions have helped tremendously with wind buffeting, but I still get a lot of wind from "below", ie. windblast that seems to come from below the outer edges of the batwing and up past my knees that ends up coming up the lower-edge of my full-face helmet. I'm curious if lowers reduce/eliminate this or maybe wind-deflectors help?

I'd try a set of deflectors. Put a set on my SG and they work well, also the new one's are adjustable; just wish they were black instead of 'dark smoke'!

You might look for a pair of wind deflectors that go down the fork legs. I had a set of them on a Softail and they really worked well...almost like having lowers.

Fork baffle first and foremost.I thenuse the wind deflectors in better weather, lowers in colder weather.

Wind deflectors help, but the big problem is air that hits your knees, creating the turbulence. Lowers with the adjustable baffle really reduces that effect. Highway pegs, ie stretching your legs out will help also as it reduces the frontal area from your legs for wind impact.
