Thanks guys for all the good responses.........not sure what I'm going to do, basically, I'm getting a Classic, it just depends whether new or used.........I agree, it's nice making a bike "yours" but fortunately for me, his is just about exactly what I would've done. Such a tough choice to have!!!! Either way, I'll be riding a beautiful Road King as soon as winter leaves minnesota (which by the way, it's -9 and -36 with the f'n wind chill!).
And I guarantee you whatever is NOT to your liking you can sell on eBay and recoup most of what you need to make it yours...I went the used route and never looked back. Had a lot of what I wanted and I added and changed some and finally am near what I envisioned. I say go for it, if you like it it is not overpriced.
