There are no fixes because there is nothing broken. There is a bit of "whine" in fifth gear due to the way the gears are cut and matched. It's not a problem. There is nothing to be fixed.
Let's not confuse the "rattle/can of rocks" noise that was a result of vibrations and resonnance from the drive system to the rear sprocket that the IDS fixed with 5th gear "whine" that occurred with the '07's. This was fixed by adding the IDS for the '08 model year. '07's with the rattle problem can be retro-fitted with the IDS at the owner expense.
I concur with ElectraRick... that problem has been resolved! It's a great bike!
