Hog Tunes

Are Hog Tunes speakers a noticable improvement over stock speakers. Not very happy with the sound on my 05 ultra radio. Are they the best sound for the buck? Thanks in advance.

Your gonna need an amp. Hawg wired with mb quart speakers sounds great.

I never installed an amp, and there is a huge difference especially when you are playing a cd. I like mine, they are plenty loud for me.

Well worth the money, IMHO.

About 30-50 percent louder (without adding additional amp) but MUCH MUCH clearer at higher volume.

hogtunes and j&m are the most popular speaker upgrades on this forum. there are others as well. a search will get you lots of info.

I know this is a can o' worms, but what are the differences between hog tunes and J and M speakers, as far as volume and clarity and bass response with same mounting as stock?

The Hog Tune speakers sound better than stock but dont forget you will never get the sound you are looking for in an open environment at highway speed.
