I will be taking reception of my SG in about a month. I have read alot about the Sert / PCIII / HD dowload options. For those who have done It what should I expect to pay in parts and labour for the SERT or HD dowload. I will be going with a stage I and SE slip-ons. My dealer does not have a dyno.
The stock harley download (PIECE OF CRAP) IS $150.00 with no other tuning options. The SERT lists for $459.00 and without a dyno they should be able to insatll it with a map/download in about 1-1 1/2 hours. You might be ok with this with just the air cleaner upgrade and slipons. If you have to take it somewhere to get it dyno'd count on an average of 3 hours dyno time at whatever the shop labor rate is.
Make sure if going with the SERT you get it dyno tuned even if you have to go thru another dealership/shop that has a dyno. Don't let them tell you they can tune your bike without a dyno. They will be lieing.
DO NOT go with the HD Download, unless you wanna be on here the next day complaining.
