I tend to put the rain pants on when it looks like its gonna rain. Depending on the day and warmth... I never put the jacket on. But when I do, its usually to late.
I do my best to get it on just before when rain seems imminent... But you know how that goes. I watch the weather/doplar before I leave the house if any chance of rain.
If it looks like i cant outrun the rain and i'm heading right into it,thats usually a good time for breakfast/lunch. bring my rain gear in with me and throw it on before i go back out, usually by that time i've had something to eat,the oil has had a chance to run off the roadway abit. or at least in my head i feel better about it doesnt always work out this way,but most the time i can stay dry enough to get the rain gear on before getting soaked
Hey bros
I try the out run thing most of the time. But the best breathable rain suit I've found is called frog togs. There water proof feel and breath like cotton and pack small. About 35-40 bucks
