My dealership runs a special all the time, 99.00 for the tire and 1 hour labor. Which is 75.00 an hour, Labor imo is crazy. Plus I cant believe it takes an hour to replace the front tire.

Just got a quote from the local HD spot. Dunlop 402 $177.95 + tax, installed free. $192.63 out the door. Not bad.

One of the local dealerships here will mount and balance the tires for free if you buy the tires there. Just had both front and rear done and was out the door for about 400. Gotta love taxes and get this "tire disposal fee".

I just called the dealer closest to me to replace my front tire. Gues how much? $310!! wtf??!!
This isn't even the rear tire. He quoted me $155 for the tire, $125 for labor and $30 for a tube and something else. He said labor is 1 1/2 hours. WOW!

WAY TOO MUCH! I'd try another HD if you have that option (I don't). If you don't have that option, I'd go with the Harbor Freight tire changer with MC adapter. TOO much money!

And that's without tax! Would be $325 with tax. OUCH!!&nbsp\\; I foud a dealer&nbsp\\;in NH that will do it for $250 and NH doesnn't have sale tax. Still getting hosed, but better than $325.
