I own a pair of the above. I also own4 pairs of the Vipers. The first pair of Viper I bought are the best pair of sunglasses I've ever owned. Then I scratched a len. So I bought a new pair andwhen I got them they changed the frame slightly. Gave them to my daughter.
Bought my wife a pair and the nose pieces fell out. The little metal logo tab fell out. The ear pieces came out. I glued everything back in.Never worked quite right but they were back in.
They changed the frame back so I bought a new pair. They were on back order and I finally got then after 4 months. The nose pieces fell out. The ear pieces fell out. The little logo on the frame fell out. I lost some. I complained. They sent me a new nose piece but also voided my warranty because I didn't pay $20 to ship them back to them so they could replace the nose piece and charge me $20 to send them back.
Then the lens look like the coated on them have come off.
The quality of the product has seriously deteriated over the years. I've seriously thought about starting a web site called iciclessuck.com
I have tried a lot of different types/brands over the years. Cheap is cheap. I have beenwearing Wiley X for the past couple of years. I have them in dark and clear, to easy to switch out to give up the darker lens. Prior military time has proven their effectiveness.
Very happy with the Wiley X. Lenses are easy to swap between clear and dark. Friend of mine bought the transition version and we both agree that they don't get dark enough. I will stick to what I have and buy another pair if anything happens to them.
For anyone using the Wiley X's, what style have you found to be the most comfortable? I know everyone is different but just trying to get a few opinions. The Harley shop by me doesn't carry them...
