IPOD for me...alot easier to find songs than having to go through 130 songs when i am looking for 1 song i want to hear at that exact moment...plus if i am in a certain mood i can chose to listen to 1 certain artist..i guess what i am saying is ipod = choices to me.
You seem to imply that you'd have to leaf thru 130 songs to find the one you're looking for on the Zumo. That's not the facts of the matter. With a touch on the screen you can choose toview a list by "Album Name", "Artist", "Genre" or a list of all songs in alphabetical order and it's on a 3" screen. It's much easier than fumbling with that little thumb control thingy andfocusing on the 1" screen on an I-Pod.
Not to hijack this but just how much memory is available on a Garmin 450? If you download/upload songs (or dealer waypoint info) in the unit can the memory be exhausted and prevent operation of the basics of acting as a GPS?
My ipod works grea! I got over 600 songs 5 different playlist. I also got a ipod 3rd Gen holder I got from gilsbro on this forum and it bolts right to the handle bars and you can changes song with your right thumb as you are riding. Awesome product! Check him out.

You don't use the internal memory to store MP3s. You use a SD memory card which is separate. You create a file system on the card the same as you would on your computer hard drive with a directory named MP3, sub directory using the Artist's name, sub directories under that using Album name which is where you'd copy the songs to. You can just dump all the songs on the card without subdirectories as long as they contain the Artist name, album name and Song name in the Tag. It's much easier for you to stay organized with a file system. Zumo has been reported to work well with cards up to 8 GB but that could be wasted money as Zumo has a limit of 1,000 songs at present. A 4 GB card will just about handle that.
You can also store other maps on this card to be imported when needed. Example: Road map of Europe.
Waypoints routes and Points of interest are converted to a very small file and loaded into the internal memory.
The Nano holds more songs, and you can setup all kinds of playlists. Put it on "shuffle" and you never know what song will play next. The burned CDs are too predictable, and you'll have the order of all 130 songsmemorizedon your first trip.
Zumo does the same thing when it comes to Shuffle or play full album, or playlistsand it can find the nearest Bar, Restaurant, Gas Station, Harley Dealeror Strip Club.
