Ipod or MP3
i just burn all my mp3s on a cd and put it in the radio, if you burn it in mp3 format you can fit over 100 songs on a single cd
Until I get a Zumo anyway.

Your I pod is probably loaded w/ tunes and is more portable.
The zumo requires an SD card, you have to buy one and load it.
I have both, I use the zumo to get me there, and the Ipod to make the ride more enjoyable.

I have 3 SD cards, 2 are 2gb and 1 is a 4 gb.
The 2 gb cards have 20 plus CDs on each with more room available.
The 4 gb card has over 50CDs with more room available.
The Zumo gives you plenty of choices as how or what orderof listening pleasure.
I like to hit "Play All" with the shuffle switch on.
If I don'twant to hear the selected tune I just hit ">" and it's off to the next tune.
If I'm in the mood to hear only, lets say, "Blues", in alphabitical, by date, by artist, play all or just a single tune, well it's only a click away.
All that with vioce prompt for instructions without losing a note.
I can always switch to my own HD radio FM/AM, CD, Weather, Intercom or CB. And if I want, I can also playa IPOD.
So, it's really not a one or the other kind of choice.
For me it's the best choice for both worlds.
Best yet, it works greaton the bike, car and truck.
The rechargable batt's willwork for up to 4 hours for those little hikes as well.
I'm still learning the in's and out's of the Zumo, but, so far I can't think of a single complaint.
My newest adventure is the fun I'm having installing"Points of Interest".
So far I have all the HD shops for USA, Can and Mex as well as all the rest area's in the USA. Not only a click will guide you there, but the written address and phone number as well as what the shop will do. As far as the Rest Areas, it tells you what is availible at each of the rest areas. I haveon file all the National Parks and access to more points of interest than I'd ever use let alone even want. lol

I've got to tell you though, I've just started to scratch the surface,
there's a whole world out there with Zumo's compatibility with Bluetooth and all that it offers as well as "XM", "Weather", "Traffic", Red Light Camera's", Accident reports and Detours" and that's just off the top of my head. Oh, it also has a photo veiwing file.
How about a topo veiw of your trip saved on Google and you can send it to others to see and or to use as a map for a trip at some other time.
the list just goes on
Funny thing, I still carry my maps. lol
