I really want to get an Electra Glide but when I sit on one in a show room my feet are not completely flat. Can this bike be lowered or do they make a seat that gives a half inch or a full inch lower ride height on this bike. I’m 5’9” I would hate to think I’m too short to be able to get one. Any thoughts?
It's already lowered, and you can add detachable Tour Pak.
Unless you just have to have some of the onboard electronics that come with the eGlide, go SG. Sportier looking than eGlides for the around town bar hopper type rides, but able to deck out to full touring in a matter of minutes.
I'm 5'8" with 30" inseam....I may not be flat footed, but close enough that it doesn't bother me....actually if I slide slightly forward when at a stop I am flat footed. My 08 UC is actually better than my 02 Dyna was....I was on my toes on the Dyna. If it really bothers you check the boots you wear, a thicker sole can help a lot. If that still doesn't do it consider having your seat modified by someone like Mean City Cycles....lots of good reports on there work on this site, some have gotting close to 2 inches closer to the ground from this type of mod. Personally I wouldn't recommend lowering the bike as it can effect your ability to lean it in curves and turns.
If you are really set on the EG Classic. Yes the bike can be lowered.
1. You can lower the forks and back. HD Sells kit for each end of the bike. This lowers about 1 to 1.5 inches.
2. Yes they have seats that you can purchase that lowers the driver, This seat also moves the driver forward a bit. This says lower driver about an inch
I'm 5'7" and have among my bikes an '07 Ultra. It has not been lowered although I do have the Reach seat on it. It's not the most comfortable seat I've ever owned, but it's not my rigid Shovel either. I have no problems handling it and you probably won't either.

I agree with the man! But, to answer your question.... Yes the EG can be lowered.
If you want the tour pack you should get the EGC and make it detachable. It's cheaper to do that than to buy SG and add detachable tour pack. The cost for the 2 bikes is almost identical and at least with the EGC price it comes with the tour pack. Another advanatge I find with the EGC's is that you can get more color choices than SG's.
HD rear lower shocks Part # 54631-02B = $275.95
HD front lowering kit Part # 54628-06 = $99.95
You can get these from online dealers @ 20% off
There are several seats out there that lower you also.
