UPS may be bending you over some. But so is your own governemnt. Maybe you should start there first.

Honestly, I have no idea. Here in the U.S.A. we would write our Senator and Respresentative. However, I am not sure that does any good. Unless you are a multi million contributor. Smuggling may be the only option left.

about 7 or 8 years ago some guy broke into the primeministers residence and tryed to assassinate him with a bread and butter knife,obviously he didn't succeed,I guess he just couldn't take it anymore and had to do something(true story),but thats about as violent as it gets up here.

You know I am not complaining about the way the government gives it to us, we voted them in and that's what we got, It the overly abundent extra raping that we get from the company that was already paid to deliver the package, they set up the rates told us up front what it would cost then just before they give me the package they stick another giant fee on top of what i had already paid them the "brokerage" fees were in fact more then the actual shipping cost were, this ended up being for a single box weighing in at approx. 15lbs i was charged my taxes to our lovely government and then another $65 to go into UPS' pocket again. That is the part that pisses me off the most. Under normal circumstances I do get everything shipped postage but every once and awhile something surprises you and get shipped UPS Most of the time I do refuse the packge and send it back this time I have already been waiting for these parts since Dec, due to another mishap with a sender, and with riding season getting close I couldn't wait much longer or the OL would have me stung up if her bike is not ready to go come spring, hell she took mine out today just to crave the edge a bit.

It does't go by the weight of the box, it goes by the value of the contents in the box. Have your american friends ship your products with a lower declaired value. Call 1-800-pick-ups and start screaming, they will work with you to refund you a portion if not all brokerage charges.
