Someone should start a poll...Who do you use/like...MY SELF UPS...No problems...USPS SUCKS...FED-EX Not any close.. Just cross my fingers and HOPE for the best!!!!!
I had about $1500 In parts sent to me at my home in Ontario in december from zanottis, they were in two boxes, slip on pipes in one box ,and IDS -adjustable backrest-fuel management and super sucker in the other box, shipping cost was just over $100, not bad because they were big boxes,Zanottis sent them usps with a tracking number, the stuff was here in about 10 days,I tracked it all the way using the usps website and the canada post website, and from the time it got to the border the packages were at my door within two days, the only extra cost was $11.45 which was a Canada post fee for handling the packages, there was no taxes and no duty fees, couldn't believe that I didn't get charged at least for tax! I was so happy with that over the border shopping experience I ordered a set of colour matched fairing lowers about three weeks ago from Zannottis, shipped usps as well and have been tracking them ,they have have been stuck at the border for about a week now and the information on the canada post web site says the package is being reviewed by Canada customs, I think it may be pay back time and I am going to have my jar of vaseline handy for when the mail lady finally shows up with my package, just a thought but it may be a good idea to order parts around Christmas time when the post office is overwhelmed with the amount of packages and maybe they let a lot of stuff go through without Canada customs getting their hands on it.

...I just gat a package shipped into Canada and they charged $40 to ship it. on top of that there is $99 to the governement for duties, on top of that is $65 to UPS for what they call brokerage fees. That is bloody murder. This has got to stop. this in not the first time this has happened to me and I know what the billing is for they are charing $30 per box for a 2 box order with one tracking code. they have done this to me before and this WILL BE THE LAST TIME EVER that I will deal with UPS. Blame your government.
They are the culprits here!
I'min Toronto and received a package from mama by the postal service.
And I paid government fees and handling fees as well.
You say "They charged you....". No they gave you a price and you agreed. You had the option to say no and go elsewhere.
No in fact i was told shipping would be $40 and then when i get the package to my door after paying the shipping the UPS guy wants another $156 after i have already shelled out fo rhte shipping and the product price
And if you didn't agree to pay those charges???? Unless it was a heart monitor or iron lung, I'd have said "no thank you" and closed the door. Don't blame UPS, blame your Socialist government, after all who do you think those "Brokerage Fees" are going to?
Everybody is claiming these fees aren't charged by the other carriers and that USPS, FedEx and DHL are cheaper than UPS in the first place, than having the shipper charge you another $40 to reship the package would save you $116.
Those bastards did it to me again. I am posting this and will continue to tell everybody I know in person and in open public forums everyplace I can. They are competely ripping people off. Worse yet, is that if you want your package to arrive in one peice you will have to pay extra for insurance. [:@] Its like saying, we'll be happy to take your money and ship anything, anywhere but if WE destroy it its not OUR problem.
oh the saga contiunesd today, driver didn't like the look of the cheque on the door so this was the 3rd attempt to deliver so I had to go to Windsor to pick it up, so off I truck spending another $25 in fuel to go get these parts. I tell ya the little lady better be nice to me after all this for parts for her ride.
