I ran the wire for my heated gear up the front of the seat. The end lays on the tank, It's out of the way when not in use. The wife's power supply cord comes up through the hole for the riders backrest. Works for us.

He's asking any '08 Ultra owners if they have the connector on theirs... and which side he should look on if there is an existing one already...

The connector is not a factory installed item. The dealer may put one on your bike. My dealer puts on a battery tender plug, which can be used for heated clothing if you replace the fuse with a 15 amp one, but it is not swithched, you will need a switch or controller.

This is what I am asking, my friend has an 08 Streetgllide and he has the connector on his bike. I had the connector on my 03 Ultra and I just thought it would come on my 08 Ultra. Update, I called my dealer and they said it is installed by them and the connector runs right off the battery. If it is not there they will run it for me next time I am at the dealer. They went on to add, that because it was their error, they would wire it directly to the switch on the dash so I can on and off my heated jacket and gloves.

So the answeris yes itdoes come with the connector to hook up your tender withbut they left it off. Thanks for all your input.
