Default 08 Ultra accessory switch

I'm wanting to hook up my electric gear to the switch wiring that runs under the seat, anyone know what wires I need to tap into there ?

It is actually under the left side cover below the fuse panel.

I believe there are two power takeoffs. The one in front of the battery is connected to the acc switch - so I've been told. Could the one behind the left cover be on all the time? Anyways, I have my heated gear connected directly to the battery. My heated gear power feed also connects to my battery tender. Oh, I use Gerbing gear.

If you can't find the one in front of the battery, get a flashlight and dig deep, it's there.

I have Been wondering about that to. When I pull my seat to get rid of saddel bag rails I will locate my plug which is supposed to be under the left side cover. I want to see if it is controlled by the acc switch. My trusty volt meter will find out for me. I will post my findings.

On my 08UC, the plug that they talk about under the left side cover in the owners manual, WAS NOT the one connected to the AUX power switch. Mine was stuffed down in front of the battery. It is asquare plug , 4 terminal ,w/acap over it. A dealer told me the one under the side cover is for their scanalizer tool. Ken

There are two plugs under the left cover. One (the bottom one)is for the scan tool and the other (the top one) is aux. power, however, it is not controlled by the ACC switch. I have been looking for that connection. I'll look in front of the battery. Thanks for the tip.
I have the shop manual and it does not say. Go figure.
