ABS, Worth It or Not??????

Hello,

I am considering purchasing an 08 Tourer mainly for the ABS option.

I am wondering if any of you have the ABS, and what your thoughts are as to it's usefullness,

(the Search feature of this Forumis useless)

I do. Had it since July. ABS only kicked in once when an SUV pulled out from an alley onto the main road. ABS kicked in, bike stayed straight. Probably saved my a$$.

Well worth it.

mine has them,,, knowin what I know now,,, wouldnt buy a bike without them!

Yes I have can say if you want or need to stop in a hurry anti lock works great. I didn't know how fast a scooter could stop until now.

Traded my wrecked 07 Ultra for a 08 Ultra w/ABS- Staying on a bike with emergency braking and full locked brakes was beyond my experience level. Practiced similar event with the 08 and bike came to an up-right safe stop. Little wierd feeling the pulsing in the brakes- just keep on the pressure and the bike stops just fine. I have no second thoughts or regrets, get the ABS!
