Tour Pack Latchs

Does anybody have problems with there latches, I have broken two latches here lately. I know there cheap ol plastic but there 10 bucks a pop. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket latches out there.

I had an issue with a latch, but the local dealer covered it under warranty and have had no problems since.

Not broken but loose, when thelist ofissues grows large enough to bring it in I'm sure it will be covered under warranty.

I had both break on the 02 Ultra. They were made of pot metal and broke at the hinge point under the tang. I suspect the lid was jumping up and down a lot.

The potmetal latch alignment was off when holes were drilled and riveted. That happened to my 85 FLT in 88. Don't have a good answer, since it's been going on for many years. Not speaking of lower part of latch, top part. If latch is loose, use your torx head or drill out rivets and pop rivet new ones in 1/8 in x 3/8 in.
