I have all of my MP3's organized by Artist, then by album name, and all in folders / sub folders. Works like a charm.
Only problem...it scrolls through them in alphabetic order, and displays the file name, so be sure to name them in a manner that will help you identify artist/song title easily while scrolling through them.
I might be missing part of your question here, but if you plug an MP3 player into the aux port, it will play however your MP3 player is sending the music to the stereo.

Dennis
Dennis, thanks, but I was concerned about a CD with MP3 music burned on it. Can't decide yet if I want to get an MP3 player for it, or just burn some CDs so I won't have to worry about always taking the MP3 player off, or getting juice to it.
I could hook up my phone via the aux port (Samsung Blackjack w/microSD card that holds my music), or I could hook up an older MP3 player I have, but using MP3 CD's ensures I have no expensive outboard electronics to manage/power. CD media is cheap and easily replaceable if something happens to it. I'd hate to have to fork over the the money to replace a more expensive piece of hardware.
