have a novice question about my '08 ultra.
i am looking for a set of heated grips so, even though i live in PA, i can still ride in January. i am an ebay junky and noticed several heated grips listed for my bagger. problem is i know that in '08 harley went to a drive by wire system in the handlebars. i like the look of the "stealth" grips but do not see a set offered for hte '08 models. will the '96-'07 heated grips fit my bike?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but found these instead. http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/...s-p-16731.html
and they go on and off for when you don't need them.
Plus I didn't want to give up my renthals

Not to make you second guess yourself but I went with heated gloves. Not only keep your palms warm but also the back of your hand that's in the wind.
That along with the heated jacket liner and dual thermostat, I'm nice and toasty with out a lot of bulk.

Personally I agree with EdwardK...I have heated handgrips, and one major thing I don't like about them is that I have to keep my hands on the grips all the time. Well, sorry, but I ride one-handed frequently, so at those times I might as well not have the handgrips. If I had it to do over again I'd pass on the grips and go for the gloves.
