I had a post on here a few days ago about if I had an alarm system on my bike. Well I don't. So I went to the harley shop and bought the system plus siren. After I bought the stuff, I asked was it hard to install. I was told that they had to install the system. I was just wondering if this was true or were they just blowing smoke!

No its not true but it may affect your warrenty if something goes wrong with your electrical system down the road.

Don't believe that crap. Pop that right side cover and follow the instructions and you won't have any problem. Go ahead, We've got faith in ya ! Good Luck

Very easy, but if you don't see the slot to install on the right side, check the left side before you give up.

I tried mine, couldn't get the bike to start. I had to take it to the dealer. They only charged me 15 minutes labor, so it wasn't so bad. My dealer is decent though.
