I love the look fit and best of all the sound, I wouldn't trade for any other................I paid $525.00 shipped to my door and that included the heat shields, from some company on ebay....

I have got a set on my duals and love them. Have alittle over 6000 miles on mine with no bluing. I think they are the best sounding muffs out there. They have a true harley sound. I will admitt I dont think I have ever seen a 2-1 thunderheader that didnt have some bluing but I am sure there are some out there.

If I could do it over, I would do it again except in black. I will be taking mine off when it is time for new rubber to get it powder coated black along with the wheels. Yes it is loud but not bad at cruize speed. I like my wifes Rhinehardt 2/1 also.

I have 'em on my 90 Softail Heritage. They work great with the S&S carb and the EV27 cam. Bought 'em used off Ebay for $275.00 delivered. Best buy I've made for my scoot!!!

A riding buddy of mine has one on his 95 inch Evo build, it's LOUD! Sounds sweet, but would kill me on a long ride... I like my V&H Pro Pipe. Throaty, but not quite so much volume.

I removed my V&H staggered shots for the Thunderheader 2 into 1. Much better performance over the V&H. Sounds awesome too. I thought is was quieter until I realized the pipe is a little longer than the V&H were, so the sound is further behind me.

Put a 2 into 1 set with heat shields on my '01 Road Glide with the 95" kit, big heads and moderate cams. Sounded great, weren't really too loud until you got on it. They definitely PO'ed the Grandma's out there when cranking on it getting around them. Good performance.

Like others have mentioned, construction quality was so-so. Broke 3 of their mid-point brackets, HD dealer replaced them all three times at no charge for parts or labor which I thought was very cool.

In my opinion its the best sounding exhaust on the market.I have the heat shields so you cant see the bluing but they did blue under them.
