Looking for a quick disconnect backrest kit for my 07 EGC. Currently have an 804-06 kit for my Tour Pack. Like to put a backrest on it for the OL. The one I got from the dealer last night only workswith an 803-06 kit. Difference between the kits is the 803 front docking points are about 2 inches forward. Looked through the catalog and online and can't find a thing....
Did see that after the fact. Question is, the chrome top rail cover that runs along the fender bracket, "U" shape on the fender, precludes putting a docking point in the front. Also the bracket on my 53303-07 kit (bolted to the underside of my TP) appears to be to short to mount to the front docking points...
Detachable Tour-PakÂŽ Rack Kit 53303-07 Transform your Electra GlideÂŽ Classic model for around town cruising. This kit includes everything needed to convert the rigid-mount Tour-PakÂŽ to an easy on-and-off detachable version. In just seconds (and without tools), you can install the Tour-PakÂŽ for that long run across the country, and remove it for a stripped-down look when you get there. With the addition of Docking Hardware Kit P/N 53803-06 (sold separately), you can install a detachable Sissy Bar Upright and passenger backrest pad for around-town passenger comfort. Complete kit includes two-up docking hardware kit, detachable two-up Tour-PakÂŽ Rack, chrome license plate holder, reflector, and AM/FM antenna relocation hardware.
That is the kit I got last night. The front docking point cut outs on the side supports is about 2 inches longer. I can see that I need front docking points, but if I install those, the TP docking points will be 2" short....[:@]
They can be a PITA to install. Do a search here on the forum with the search feature about installing detachable hardware, etc. and you will find some tips.

The part #'s that dawg gave you are the ones you need trust me. You can do a detachable tour pack and a detachable sissy bar on the same bike you just have to have two docking kits and you can't have tour pack and sissy bar on the bike at the same time.
Shorty, the chrome fender strut covers are removed to install the front (sissy bar) docking hardware, and reinstalled after the docking hardware is installed.
Dawg's information is accurate; it's what I have on my bike.
