I had mine put on by a bike builder when the bike was torn down to the frame and entirely re-done. Sorry I can't help you with tips on the install - but you'll love riding on them. The bladders in the ORM HD air shocks go out at about 20 K which is when I decided to re-do my FLHT, top to bottom. I'm still tweeking the adjustment of the 440's to determine my preferred level. Good luck.

make sure they are not the heavy duty springs unless you are a heavy dude or go 2 up most of the time. if you weigh over 220# you will be in the zone for the heavy duty's. check with streetrunner on this..

It's pretty simple stuff really.
Use a little thread lock on the bolts.
Do one at a time and your done.

I love mine. It took a little bit to get the right adjustments but I've got it down pretty good now were I can adjust them from solo to two up in less then a minute.

I had mine installed by Progressive at their booth during Daytona Bike Week about 10 days ago. So far, so good. I like the ride.
I never trusted thereliability of the air ride system. This is one less thing to worry about failing while out on the road. Now, I don't need to carry the pump.

Terminator69, I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I want to make you aware of a problem I had with my 440's.
The ride wasn't bad but everytime I went over a certain type bump, a small curb on a drivewayfor an example, the shocks would top out. I would hear a clank and feel a thud. I tried various adjustment but couldn't cure the problem.
The shocks were standard spring tension. I weigh around 205 and my buddy weighs 260, it didn't matter who rode the bikethey would still top out.
I took it to my dealerand had the service manager take it for a ride, he weighs 350+, the shocks were perfect!
I called Progressive, they wanted me to send the shocks to them for inspection. I didn't want to go through the hassle so Iinstalled 13" HD air shocks and couldn't be happier.
I'm not trying to discourage you becausemy shocks may have been 1in a million with this problem just want to inform you of my experience.

It's a very basic install. Just make sure you use the correct set of spacers for your application. They come with the kit. A motorcycle jack will really help make things easy. Do one side at a time if you don't have a jack.
