I put a Heavy Breather on my SG about a month ago and I've been doing a little riding and while sitting at a stop light my frigging filter air fell off. To make matters worse as I was picking the damn thing off of the ground a group of Gold Wings pulled up and got a good laugh. I rolled out the middle finger tucked my tail and air filter between my legsproudlyaway. IT AIN'T A HARLEY IF IT AIN'T LOSING PARTS.
Just a reminder...If you have a Heavy Breather push it back on and tighten it up.

RE: Heavy breather fell off
OUCH!! Of course you explained to them that that's an "auto" feature (a very expensive option, I might add) that happens when it senses a jap bike and goes into race mode, sort of like a Turbo....... so they better bakdafukup or they might get sucked into the intake..... I developed a system to use when I ride my chopper and the crotch rockets pull next to me at stoplights and want to race. First I tell them sure, just unplug 2 cylinders to make it even... while they've got that "deer in the headlights" look and the light changes, I crack it to the next light. When they get to the light (usually pissed cause they just got got) I smile at them with my best look of disdain and immediately turn the corner mumbling "get a real bike sonny"... priceless

[sm=icon_rofl.gif]I am sorry about your luck, sure is damn funny tho!
If it was that loose I can't believe you did not notice it. It takes a bit of force to get it off over that **** on the end of the intake tube. anyway stuff like that only happens at the wrong time when you have a crowd around.

I don't see how having a heavy breather on the back would make the air cleaner fall off ? Push it back on and tighten it up...
sound like military terms
