Go look at Walmart,I was surprissed ,they have what you are looking for and pretty cheap,I ended up with two pair, one clear and one dark, they are made for riding.
Last year I ordered prescription sun glasses from www.opticsplanet.com.I got the WileyX Blink with transition lenses, they work very good with minimal distortion that you will get with wrap around lenses.Very easy to order on line, just bring the prescription sheet from their web site to your eye doctor to get it filled out.I had the rush order which only took 10 days as I live in Canada.
.
Do the transition lenses make it a problem trying to read a GPS screen or other LCD screens like the "polarized" one do? My current prescription sunglasses make it very hard to see the GPS and radio screens.
I agree with ctmedic, I tried using prescription glasses with the cushion seal around them and found them to be annoying while wearing them after the ride. Now that I ride the Ultra the wind is never a problem for my eyes. I like using regular eyeware, plus I don't have so many pairs of glasses to keep track of!
Harley-Davidson accessories sells a decent line of goggles in SoCalcalled Guard-Dogs. With their Terminator model, for example, your regular frame can be fitted with prescription lenses for about $70.00 plus shipping. You provide the frames for the first pair, but if you buy a second pair from them (anytime), they'll provide the 2nd pair of frames, free. They are good goggles.
I just received my Wiley-X glasses from http://www.rx-safety.com/ ...my frames alone were $50 cheaper than sprotrx.com. I did a phone order and had them in a week and a half.
