I also have a little bird chirp, I also have Rineharts, I have had this chirp ever since I put the Rineharts on. There has been many talks about " The Rinehart Chirp". Only at certain RPMs and only when under a slight to medium load on the engine. Heavy load on engine it goes away and and no load it is not there. Mine is coming from the right side, I think (sound can travel and do some strange stuff on a bike). I have yet to pull the baffles and try to tighten them, which has been some peoples fix. I really bugged me at first, but not so much any more, I just go faster or crank ZZ Top a little louder
Got a similar chirp here, but I can only hear it when I have on my half helmet. (I know, wear a bigger helmet). I have a D&D Fat Cat, but can't really tell if it's coming from the left or right side. I tried silicon on the saddlebag mounting rubber and the exhaust mounting brackets but so far no luck. I'll try the belt today before I head out and see if that helps. At first I thought it was the saddlebag lids, so I pushed on them while I was riding but no luck. Sounds like rubber rubbing against metal.
Couple other possiblities, check the tightness of the head bolts at the exhaust, did you use new gaskets? Also, the air coming into the A/C could whistle. Dunno what it sounds like but just ideas here. [sm=confused06.gif]

I had the same bird chirping, drove me nuts, I sprayed silicon too, didn't work, thought it was the drive belt, used the belt dressing, chirping was still there...dealer couldn't find it.
Frustrated I put my bike on a lift, did a walk aroud the bike and shook everypart imaginable.I shook the left side pipereally slow and heard a faintchirp.........since silicaon didn't work I sprayedWD-40 on the same saddlebag mounting brackets rubber bushings...chirping stopped! had'nt had a chirp out of the bike again. Keep both runner bushings well lubed...still no chirps. Hope this works for you.
