Default Hey Kury mid-frame cover users???

Do the side covers still fit properly after installing the mid frame covers?? I read about someone saying they don't. How does yours fit?
I bought them ,but not sure I want to put them on if the side covers don't snap into place completely.

They didn't fit my o8 ultra classic! I started with the Primary side and it did not line up at all. I ended up twisting it like a pretzelin discuss sense the darn thing got scratched in the process. I hope others had better luck thanI did!Still have the other side brand new in the box if anybody wants it! As to the side covers fitting? Nope! I felt thatI would end up losing theside coverdown the road. Not worth it to me.

Biggest POS I ever bought and KUYYAKIN Customer Service blows!!! From the first time I put them on they never fit correctly, the side covers that held them in kept popping out I took em off for the winter, when I tried to install em for the summer I stripped the brass thresaded inserts, e mailed KURYAKIN and they answered said if I needed hardware to replace the stripped insert Id have to sent them $19 plus shipping, Instead of just sending me a replacement insert, therefore I lost all faith in Kuryakin and refuse to buy anymore of their stuff! Tried to give em to my friend, he didnt want them so I wound up throwing em in the trash!!

I've had mine forthree years on my '04 EG; they fit fine and the side covers fit well.

Personally, I bought them shortly after I bought the bike as a newby and wouldn't buy them again since they basically "disappear"--not much bling for the buck IMO.

Yeah, i think I was the one you read about that said the side covers dont fit anymore. their cheap stamped pot-metal, fit like crap, make your side covers fit like crap and are WAY overpriced, but other than that their great!

Check with getting RJs Originals. They are a breeze to install, look and function great, and RJ really does care about customer care. Stay away from the Kury/HD junk. Lots of dissatisfied customers on these deflectors.

If you are talking about the MidFrame Heat Shields, for 08 with the different 6 Gal Tank the Mid frame Heat Shieldsare different than previous years, you have to make sure you get the right ones, if they are even available yet.
I am not sure of the Chrome covers, and they may have changed also.

I get frustrated trying to get parts that are not yet available for the 08's.
