Default HD Reach seat

Have any of you used the Harley Reach Seat? I'm 5' 7" and I bought one a few months ago for my Road King. It's supposed to scoot you forward 1.5" and lower you 1.5". Mine seems to be higher instead of lower and wondered if anyone else has experienced this with a Reach seat.

I don't have a reach seat but I do have a couple of questions for you.
1. Did it seem to move you forward?
2. How comfortable is it compared to the original seat? Especially on longer trips.
Thanks!

I tried one and didn't like it. It seemed much less comfortable than the stocker. I just bought a seat from an SE Ultra to try this summer. I'm not one for big overstuffed seats so maybe it will be more suited to my derierre.

I had one for a while and it definitely lowered me and moved me forward. The price you pay for this is that it's a little restricting in the crotch area because you're sitting in a trough, basically. It was fine for me until I'd been on it about 9K miles, and the foam got compressed enough that it really started to get restrictive. It's a good solution for a shorter or short-legged rider, though. As for the comfort of the passenger, my wife thinks the Reach was the most comfortable of all the seats I've tried (Sundowner, stock RKC, current Mustang).

Stryke, it did move me forward...just didn't seem to lower me any, might be a little higher if anything. I think it's much more comfortable than the stock seat but then again I was bent over reaching for the bars with my arms straight...which is murder on the elbows after any length of riding. I did install a set of Road King High bars a few weeks ago and that helps a bunch. Makes the bike much more comfortable to ride for me.

I tried one on my 06 EGC and hated it. So uncomfortable I couldn't stand it - hurt like crazy.

Bingo! I had one on my scoot for less than 24 hours. Not worth it. I went to a Sundowner and wear thick soled Chippewa Logger style boots. The thicker sole and higher heel made a world of difference.

Had one for my 07 Ultra, seamed to move me forward but not down. Passenger section is 2 inches narrower than the stock UC seat. Lasted about 100 miles. Will be on sale shortly.

I bought an old Ultra reach seat, did anIron Butt with it on my bike. Sent it to Mean City Cycle to have memory foam put in. Perfect seat now.
