Does anybody know how much louder 2.5 baffles are than 2.0 baffles. I have the 2" and want to go just a tad louder, but not setting off car alarms louder. Any opinions regarding the two baffles would be helpful.

 

2 inch kind of like S.E. slipons
2.1/4 inch real nice
2.5 inch that the ones my wife likes

 

I have the 2.25's and I don't think they are that loud. But I'm not behind it either.

 

I used to have the 2" and set off car alarms with them! Course, sorta depends on how you ride.

I now have the 2.25" and they are noticably louder/deeper. I like them.

 

Funny if you go to Rush's website and hear them they all sound the same.

 

Friend of mine had 1.5" installed on his 08 RK by the dealer, sounded tinney, popped them out and put in the 2", very different sound, much deeper and louder.

 

i belkieve you would be setting off alarms with the big one

 

The larger baffles lean out the motor ! Keep this in mind.

I've had the 2 1/2" and now have the 2" and I can tell you from experience that the 2" in my new motor runs better, 2 1/2" won't give you enough back pressure and speed for the exhaust, heck, I like the sound of the 2" better than the 2 1/2" anyways, sorta of sounds like Rineharts a little.

 

had 2.5 on my 08 and all kinds of popping on decel, etc. changed to 1.5 and no problems at all. not as loud but could not hear radio w/ 2.5 on hi way...just my opinion...ride safe
