I have the 11' SG with 2" Rush slip-ons. Sounds really good, low, deep. I was wandering if anyone has removed the baffles altogether since it has the "cat"? I might give it a test run to see. Probably not going to have the deep bellow I would imagine.
Thoughts anyone?
State of Maine spoke of cracking down on 'after market' exhaust systems
this past summer.....My Rush slip ons with 2" baffles slid under the radars,
and still put a smile on my face every time I cracked on the throttle out on
the open roads.
Any larger baffles and I may not have fared so well......
I have the 2.5 , with the cats it sounded kinda mellow, but ran prettty good, put the VH true duals on this weekend and with the 2.5 it is really loud and dosent have any bottom end. am going to have to change to the 2 inch to get some bottom end back in it, untill I can afford a new tune and set of cams.
I have the 2" baffles and love the sound. Nice tone while cruising but can be a head turner when you get on it. Wifey didnt mind the increase in sound when we took off the stock mufflers and put the Rush slip-ons on. If wifey is happy, Im happy.
So.....do any of you RUSH people think there will be a noticeable difference if I go from the 1.75's to the 2.0?
Thanks!
I'm guessing only noticeable difference would be under load....
idling at stop light probably minimal difference.....
Then again what do I know, I play in dirt all day and get paid for it !!!!

Just found this thread, look like all the questions have already been answered except this one. The 1.75 to the 2.0 is a minor change. The main difference is the 1.75 will mellow out a bit more at cruizing rpms. The 2.0 and larger will maintain their sound more than the smaller baffles.
Also, if you have a year with cats in the headpipe the 2.50 will sound and tune similar to a 2.00 on a bike with no cat.
