Has anyone bought a Tour Pak Lid Bra? I am thinking of buying one and was wondering how well they "fitted" the lid. (how is it attached?) Could I punch clean holes through it and mount a luggage rack on top? ( I know they don't reccommend it but was wondering if it was possible)
I have the bra's for the saddlebags. I imagine that the tour pack bra attaches the same way. Velcro is put on the inside of the lid. The bra has velcro tabs that fold over and under to attach. Can't help you with the luggage rack question.
I have bra on fairing and hardbags on FLHTCI Electraglide, work great, do not want to cut holes in something I just bought so that I could add something else. If you got the money you can do anything your heart desires.
My tour pak lid has a cosmetic anomaly that I was going to have repaired and painted. However I am not confident that the shop will match the paint exactly. My thought was to use the Bra to cover the anomaly. However, there is a luggage rack presently on the lid that I would like continue to use. It appears from what Scot says the Velcro attachment method is such that I can install the Bra and re-install the rack without the Bra becoming loose fitting.
Thanks for the info.
