Saddlebag Filler Strip Kit HELP

Saddlebag Filler Strip Kit HELP
Just purchased the Saddlebag Filler Strip Kit matched to my color of my bike. Went to put on and cant get them to line up. When I try to install them the top hits my mounting bracket for my bags. Does anyone have these on there bike and did you have the same problem? I took off the spacer behind my bag mounting bracket and they fit fine but the bags will not fit then. I have a 07 Roadking Classic.

had the same problem on 08 eg classic. it wasn't that the strips were wrong but the saddle bag mounts needed to be adjusted. i moved them a bit but then the problem was gettting the twist locks lined up again. the biggest interference i had was at the top. i bent them a little bit to clear. was a little nervous about it but you can't see anything once their on and the bags are bag on. just take your time and walk away for a minute to think what you need to move before you actually loosen it up. like i said, i had more of a problem getting the bags mounts adjusted again...ride safe

The top tab on the filler panel should rest on the bag bracket. Had to adjust both the front and rear bag brackets after the install to get both pins aligned.

when I take the spacer the filler strips go on great but the bags will not fit on then The website and book says they fit but there is no way. I know my stealer is going to give me a big hastle about returning. even though they said they would fit and order them for me.
