I am considering the Rush/Fuelmoto Power pack from Jamie. As I live in an apartment complex, I don't want to make a lot of noise. When setting the Throttle Position Sensor the bike must be running at idle to set the idle position. How long do you need to keep it at 100% and can this be done at the old rev limits or should it be done at the new higher limits?
the bike does not need to be running in order to set the 100% throttle. use the battery adapter, and make sure the ignition, and the kill switch are both on (this one killed me....)
If you set the throttle positions with the motor running you don't allow the motor to go to 100%, only the throttle. You first set the 0%, then simply open & close the throttle *QUICKLY*! The motor will only gain a few hundred rpm. You don't want to let it get wide open with no load on it!
