anyone tried the performance pack from fuelmoto? talked to jamie yesterday, he recommended the rush pipes over the supertrapps for performance, said i could get the pipes , pcIII and air cleaner for 749.00. dont sound like a bad deal. Just wondered if anyone has done this and what the results were
Jamie must be getting a hell of a kick back from Rush because that seems to be the only pipes he pushes. I can't see where Rush would be considered a "performance pipe".
Jamie pushes the Rush because his Rush mufflers are far from stock Rush mufflers. They Fuelmoto modify regular Rusk casings with custom dyno tuned baffles that were developed in house by Fuelmoto. As far as I know theRush cans are the only ones they use for the custom baffles. I assume Rush is the only company that makes Jamie a deal on buying the outer muffler case only. The baffles simulate a 2-1 pipe and he has dynos to back up this claim. I have this exact set up and have been very happy with it. Mine are on a 2008 Ultra.
Put the very same kit on my '08 RK, including the Rush mufflers with custom baffles, and couldn't be happier!! It now sounds great, and the performance increase was like night and day! DOOOOO IT
I replaced the 2" baffles in my Rush mufflers with the custom baffles from Fuelmoto. The noise level came down and the power level went up! I'm very happy with this setup, and my mpg went from 42 to 44
I have the Rush slip ons with 1.75 baffles. No other mods. I'm looking at doing this set up as well. My questions is will the custom baffles be quieter than the 1.75's I have. I love the sound now!!
