I work rotating 12 hr shifts so I'm either going home at 0430 or going to work at 0400 every day. I've been wanting more light since I pcked up my Streetglide a couple years ago. This really was an easy installation(didn't need to remove fairing) and the difference in light was worth the price tag. If anyone else decides to do it the instructions that come in the box are generic. You can get a much better set online at Kuryakyn's website.
The only thing that was kindof a pain was the allen bolts seemed to be mixed between metric and standard heads. It could have been the plating possibly but I ended up buying a metric allen set to do a couple. Not a big deal though...
So this kit is a Lo and Hi beam lamp all in one. It looks nicer then the H-D HID with the dual bulb set up that I'm running and as for cost its at least $100 bucks less expensive.
The HID I sell: [ul][*]is Hi/Lo with no changing of handlebar wiring[*]needs no extension ring[*]bike looks exactly the same as before[*]both HID draws the same current (2.4 amps/35 watts) which is 1/2 that of a 70 watt halogen bulb[*]light spread and length has the same characteristics in either case (HID kits)[*]needs no special lens as the stock one (HD or after market such as Adjure) works the same as your pattern currently.[*]has a much smaller Digital (advanced) Ballast than the Motorola pictured[*]designed for your lens, does not need to have the ballast in the enclosed headlight bucket (traped heat in the case of the enclosed headlight bucket) or mounted near the headlight, it can mount anywhere such as behind or under the battery box or oil tank (it is very thin)[*]has the same bulb H-4 Hi/Lo and extended life expectancy of 2-3 thousand hours[*]has a money back customer satisfaction guarantee in the customers (your own) opinion provided by me personally[*]has a one year warranty supplied by me personally[*]has live installation support 7 days a week during wakening hours or view in PDF on my site[*]sells for less than $250 delivered[*]many HDF members are reference to both quality of my service and products. Do a search.[*]I support this site [/ul]
