I purchased the road sofa w/backrest and so far I like it. It isn't broke in yet. A little on the "hard" side but, the folks at Saddleman say it takes about 800 miles to break in. Only 650 more to go Ibelieve once it is broke in, the seat will be miles ahead of the stock seat from HD. Cya
I also just purchased the road sofa for my 07 UC, and only have about 150 miles on it. Like you I am waiting on the break-in period to end. I haven't had a chance to ride as I am installing a DTT III. But, once it is installed, I have a nice ride planned in 2 weeks to the NC and TN mountains. That will definitely break it or me in.
toyking23 - Right on! Let me know how she breaks in. I really think it will be a comfortable seat. At about the 350 mile mark, the stock seat hurt my hips and knees. I really like the way you sit into the saddleman and the backrest will make putting 4 or 500 miles on at a wack a breeze. Cya
I've had a saddlemans since 02 same seat on 3 different bikes. Once you get it broke it you will love it, I made many tank to tank trips without discomfort.
Kind of bummed out now as it doesn't fit my 08.

Caspr2 - Good, sounds like I made a good choice. This is the first saddleman I've own and you never know what your really getting until you get it and find out for yourself. I have yet to hear a negative from anyone. Thanks for the reply.
