I am looking at adding the passenger grab rails 91583-99 to my 08 Ultra Classic. I have read some past posts that this part number will fit the 08's even though HD says that it won't. I would like to see if anyone has these on an Ultra with the rear speakers and possibly post a picture for me and the wife to see. She thinks that the grab rails won't be able to be utilized with possibly the rear speakers blocking the rails.
I just put them on my RG. I have my tourpak back 2 1/2 inches with the George Anderson kit and the speakers just barely touch. It wouldn't work with the tourpak in the stock location.

Sorry, no pics and my bike is in the shop. ugh!
You speak of the George Anderson's kit, can you give me some insight on this?

Enter his name in a search and you'll lean all you need. You have to call him because he doesn't have a web site. He'll send it right out for you and you send him a check in return for $135. it is well worth it.
It will fit the 08UC perfect just like it is. No kit needed. I have it on my 08UC now. Pop the seat and you will see how it mounts. Takes about 1 min. to install.
That is so wierd when one person says it won't fit and along comes another person who says, yeah, fits fine. I know that people are being honest and I have seen this on this subject more than once.
