Exhaust question on a Bagger
All, I have a question about Exhaust pressure on a 2006 Classic. I just recently installed a set of V&H slip ons and also added the V&HFuelPak to go along with it. It really smoothed out the Idle, but I noticed that the right side exhaust puts out much more air pressure than the left. Is this normal? I did notice that when I removed the stock mufflers, that the right side has much more sout built up in it than the left.
Just wondering

RE: Exhaust question on a Bagger
Most of the exhaust is comming out of the right side due to to H pipe from the rear cylinder. I have the Python slip-ons with V&H Fuelpak. After reading some posts I purchchased a Fullsac true dual conversion. The kit eliminates the H pipe and allows for each cylinder to its own dedicated exhaust. You will actually hear your pipes in Stereo instead of 70-80% of the sound comming from the right side.
The only thing I will say is that while the fullsac kit is a great, inexpensive way to get true duals you will still have to fiddle with thestock heat shields and still won't have full coverage with them. Other than that I can't and won't say anything bad about the price or quality.
I have seen some of the true dual pipes drop to where I almost wish I would have just spent some extra coin and gotten the full true dual systemthat comes with full heat shield.

RE: Exhaust question on a Bagger
Thanks for the info Boys. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't have anything stuck in the new pipes from the packaging when I put them on yesterday. I guess the smart thing would have been to look down the pipe to make sure, right? But I have to admit that the Fuelpak is a nice addition as well. The dealership installed a Stage 1 on it while it was a rental. I bought the bike during the cold spell up here in Northern Illinois and didn't actually have a chance to take her on a rode test. So I noticed that this bike had a very rough idle. Shook you pretty good sitting at a light, but once you put yourself into the throttle you were good to go. But once I mounted the Fuelpak and got it programmed up, I noticed the rpm increased about a hundred and a half and it was much smoother. Not the big shake as before. I'm hoping the sound will change a little bit once they get broke in.
