I just bought a bagger and have a stupid question. How do you wash the bike and keep water from getting in the CD player? I even tried not spraying water around inside of fairing and it still got some in there. Any ideas fot the greenie bagger owner?
Obvious question but another member missed it a year ago or so so I have to ask: You are closing the little door that covers the cd slot right?
Aside from that do not splash any water anywhere on the inside of the fairing. A wet cloth or some spray cleaner should do the trick. Save the soap and water for the muddy days on the rest of the bike and do a search here on some of the countless spray on - wipe off cleaners available.
I only use the soap and water if I get stuck in the rain and I have gunk splattered everywhere. In between times I use a spray cleaner called Purple Slice. Spray on. Wipe off. Ride.
Bigtank, Do a search on bike cleaners and you'll find a whole lot of different stuff out there like, S-100. Honda Brite, Protect all and even Pledge, jusrt to name a few. Good luck..."D"
