I have a 03 Roadie, and was planning on moving the spotlights to the most forward hole. How does a person do this. I have twisted and pulled to no success. I took apart the spot it self thingking there would be a nut inside, but nothing. I took apart the lower amber assy and there is a nut has the wiring inside in the upper part. I coudln't get at it and looking for some advice from other who have tackled this task. What gets me the most, is everything on the harley is basically simple engineering, what Jap designed this for HD,
Remove the lower 1/2 which is the turn signal.
I believe the wire unplugs, if not you can cut it and use spade connectors.
HD makes a special socket and so does snap on.
But you can make it your self.
buy a cheap 9/16 deepwell. cut a slot from the nut end up the side (just one
slot), I used a die grinder.
wide enough for wire to fit in. Make 1/4 or so turns and reposition socket.
finish diassembly, move where you what and reassemble.
