Intercom Not Working

I have a 08 Ultra and can not get the passenger intercom to work. Followed the owners manual to the letter still nothing. This is not my first bike with a com system, but I don't know whats going on. When you talk into the mike, the sound cuts down like it is going to work, but nothing is transmitted. You can hear the radio fine, and you can use the C B, but the com is not working. Any ideas, I am all ears...........................

Use the passenger control to set the rear volume. Make sure the passenger vox is set to normal Set your speeker switch to the middle position.
