Default Build Finally done!!

Well, after finally deciding what I want I finally got it built, broke in and today took it to get tuned. I owe thanks to PhilM and some other who responded on here and gave me some help and ideas. This was a mix and match build that worked without breaking the bank. I took the bike to my dads shop in MD at Christmas and we tore it apart. I ended up leaving it there for a couple months and he put it back together for me. Anyway, this is what I went with:
--my06heads decked .050, minor porting and clean-up,stock valves, Manley springs, Jims compression releases
--my cylinders bored to 3 7/8
--Wiseco forged 9:1 flat tops
--SE adjustable pushrods
--stock carb with Zippers HPCV mod (.195main, .48 slow, 1200sporster needle)
--Zippers oil shim
--HQ0034G cam and S&S gear drive
--HQ6104 ignition (Same as TwinTec!)
--D&D Fatcat with standard baffel
--3.37 primary gearing (will probably change back to stock)
--SE breather with K&N filter exposed
--final compression should be close to 10:1
I also added tweeters, Cyclesmiths 13" bars, braided lines some chrome ect. I had th SE Heavy Breather buton the dyno, from 4000rpm up it wasWAY lean but fine down low/mid. We tried different jets and a Yost needle, nothing worked. I may try a Dynojet needle and Pingle Petcock later. The runs with that breather without being tuned was putting 104TQ but low hp because of the lean condition up top. Switched to my old SE breather with a new K&N, problem solved. I'll tip my hat to Neil at Tilley HD in Statesville, NC for the excellent tuning job, time spent and for not trying to sell mea new carb ect when he was having problems at first. This bike is now a blast to ride!!

The first to run on the previous post were 4th gear hot and cold runs. This is a 5th gear run.I will post pics of the bike as soon as I can.

You are very welcome.... CONGRATS! Results look very nice....

As numbers go.... the 3.37 gears actually roba little from the chart, but rideability is the key!

Again... looks great!

Looks great, but why the huge dip in low-end tq? Just with my Rush Fuel Moto PCIII setup, I'm at 80lb ft torque by 2250 rpm and it stays flat until well past a normal shift point.

Your pull starts just above 2k RPMs. The other is started @ 1500. That has a lot to do with it, but it also looks like the AFR could be smoothed out a it too. That would also make his numbers even higher, but it really depends on how much time he want to spend on the dyno ....

One other thing, do not confuse what you are looking at on your dyno sheet with how it is at "shift points". unless you are riding your bike WFO ~ which I doubt. The tune @ WFO is really good for one thing... Dyno sheets. The tune everywhere else is what really matters when you ride, and you will never see that on a dyno sheet.
