To get rid of the backfire/popping we're suppossed to bump up the 0 Trottle Position #'s up but, am I correct in assuming that there's no need to raise them until you get to 1250rpm?
Why add fuel when idling, right?
I don't understand why adding or subtracting any fuel to RPM's above 1500 on late-model HD's would make any difference. The EFI shuts down fuel delivery when at 0% TP anyway, so why would it make any difference? Take your bike up to 3k RPM in 3rd gear and roll down the throttle to 0%. When it gets to about 1500 you'll feel a slight surge when the fuel begins to flow again. If the is no fuel delivery, why would changing anything matter?
