I use a product called Invisible Glass. Spray it on and let it soak in for 5 minutes and wipe off.

I took keep a wet micro fiber cloth in a zip lock bag in my saddlebag and when I stop for gas I wipe down the windshield and front fairing to keep the bugs from staying on very long. Works great. A good wax job helps things along also and I too use the spray detailer on everything between the major wax jobs.

Use 50-50 hydrogen peroxide and water! Put it in a spray bottle and the bugs melt of in a few seconds and it doesn't appear to affect the polish.

Ride well,

Jim

This might be a 'no-no', but years ago, after riding through a buncha road construction, my bike was splattered with tar.
I tried everything to get it off, and was getting frustrated when my father suggested Armorall...came off like nothin.'
That was a plastic Yamy though...not sure if I'd use it on my new ride...leaves quite the residue.

A warm sopping wet wash cloth and two beers. Make very slow passes over the surface with the wash cloth with quenching your thirst with a cold beer. Then I wipe down the windshield with a microfiber cloth and Plexus then the fairing with S100Wax + Detail. My process has been working for years.
