I've got the HID (not installed yet) replacing the dual beam. Would like to get the passing lamps with replacable bulbs. Don't see them in the HHD catalog. Have you got a P/N?

I hit a deer last July at 9:30 AM so I'm all for more light and more light.

Really like the wide field of view though, worth the bling IMO.

I agree. I have just bought a set of Passing Aux Passing lamps that the bulbs can be changed. Plan on putting PIAA's or SilverStar H-3's into those as well. I never say no to putting more light up front!
Below is link to bulbs you need. I put Piaa's in mine and they are great.

That was me who did the post the other day.

Thanks for the response. I don't have a LCD screen, so I look forward to seeing your 2nd attempt later.

Question. HID bulbs do not have filaments, so how can there be a high and low beam?

Also, if you are going to buy factory halogen passing lamps, don't buy the kit. Just get two replacement reflector units. It is cheaper that way.

Not really sure, the High is a yellow light and they both burn in High, good question. Headed over to the Dealer now to get my light adjusted a little. Mid 60's here today

Ok, this is a good question. The H-D HID upgrade does not have a HID with Hi and Lo beam with a single HID bulb in the reflector. But that said. The enclosure that the H-D HID upgrade is designed with a reflector that supports a Halogen bulb with a perfectly round reflector in the lower section for Hi beam, and the HID section is the remaining upper portion of the assembly that has almost a 3/4's cresent area dedicated to the HID bulb. With the circuit changes of the wiring harness for the HID installation and upgrade from a standard H-4 bulb enclosure. The HID bulb burns all the time on Lo or Hi beam switch setting. Only the Hi beam bulb (the halogen) lights when you go to Hi beam.

One of the other guys was asking specificly as to what the factory model number (H-3, H-1, H-7 etc...?) is to replace the factory halogen!

But if your really wanting a HID that is all in one with only one HID Bulb for both Hi and Lo beam. Check this link it has a moveable bulb in a socket that replaces your standard H-4 bulb in your normal headlamp lense assy. It looks interesting but the price is something else. No telling how reliable that in and out socket will be for a single headlamp operation on a motor cycle. If it gets stuck out in Hi beam you will **** off the world until you can swap in an H-4 or a replacemnet HID bulb assy.

Tough task to get a good picture at night of this lighting system. Added 3 more photos, one really shows the band of white light on low beam. Will try another camera tomorrow.
