Recently purchased the HD mirror extensions for my ultra. Wow, what a difference they make. I'm fairly good sized young man. 6'2". 280 lbs, and I no longer have to lean right or left to see out of my mirrors. For you larger guys I put them in the category of a "must have".
Went the same route on my 08 RG.
Rear-view is now way better but these arn't the prettiest mirrors when the extensions are on.
Figured it would be a temporay fix until I can find some long-stem mirrors which suit the bike better.
Still can't imagine anyone being able to see with the stock mirrors on a RG. I'm 6ft, 195lbs
Assume its the same with the Ultra

I'm with you on this. I bought them and just put the right side on loosely. That's all it took for me to see that they looked like crap on the RG. I know I've got to think of something soon. My Clearview large is comming in and I've got a funny feeling the stock mirror locations are not going to make it.
