ORIGINAL: SeaHag
I'm one of those customers waiting [hoping] you can come out with a taller version...maybe a 15-16" shield.
How are ya, SeaHag? It's been a while....
I would be interested in a taller version (in addition to my 12") too Joe.
I'm actually surprised anybody noticed around here. I've never been as big a part of this place as a few others I frequent; but I've been more scarce at all of them this past off season. Just more focused on losing weight and getting in better shape the past few months; so that is where most of my focus has been. I made a few upgrades to my bike last weekend and finally got it out of hibernation...so now I've got the biking bug back and been a lot hungrier to catch up on the Harley forums. Thanks for asking Phil.
Sorry for the hi-jack...back to regularly scheduled programming.
Explain how I'm being a dick by calling them and telling them about a problem with the Black coming off bottom of shield. No harsh words were spoken. They asked me to email a picture. I did, and never got a response.
Wonder why PhilM would like a taller one. Could it be the 12" is like not having a shield.

Looks good, just don't work for me
Then pick up the phone and call them. I've called there a few times and never voice mail, just people who are down to earth. Hopefully Joe or someone from Klock Werks answers this post and addreses your issue.
I happen to like my 12" it seems to work just as advertised and is a hell of alot better than my short, flat HD shield. How chould a thinking person expect a shorter shield not to have more air flow? I had outstanding customer service, hell they even called a couple a weeks later to see howI liked the shield.
I can't believe how just one add-on can change the look of my Bike, The Klock Werks windshield looks so good, I will be riding tomorrow, we'll see how well it works I'm 5'11"
I have had mine since day one of owning my 08 SG and for one it just looks badass and now have a little over 500 miles on it and not changing it out anytime soon. I"m 5'11" and I will say it is way better than stock which I had on only acouple of hours.
Here's some early feedback on the Klock Werks 6.5" flare windshield for Streetglides and FL Touring models. The windshield simply kicks a$$. I went from the stock 4" where the wind always hit me under my helmut visor along the forehead. I am 5'10" an always had to crouch to get under what I call dirty air. With the new 6.5" shield I can sit straight up and have no dirty air or disruptivewind in my face or around my head at all. Cleared the wind issue right up and I could notice this right from the down low and slow speeds all the way to 75mph.
I rode about 20 minutes in 35 degree temps last night and it was awesome. If you have a streetglide and get the wind/ bugs hitting you right in the forehead, open the wallet and buy one of these Klock Werks flared shields. They are Fuggin Awesome! No Kidding!
