For those that have seen what Whiskers did on his 2002 RK (2 tone fender), I think it looks great. I have beentoying with the same idea of having my fender painted to matchmy tank.I respect the opinions of those on this site and your feedback is most welcome. Thanks in advance...Steve

I agree that 2 tone is the way to go. It's unfortunate that you buy a so called 2 tone RK and all you get is the lower half of the tank done that way. I'll try to send you some pictures to look at on RK's that I've had paint jobs done on.

The two-tone looks great--hope you do the side covers as well--it's more work, of course, but it's that kind of detail that adds to the overall look of the bike, IMO.
