Default To glide or not to glide...

That is the question... Love my king, but lately have really been thinking about a SG.My King has 20K on it, and while I know thats not much, I do think for resale, its gettin close to "high milage" if its not already. I'dkeep my wheels and front fender, and possibly some other little things... I also still have my 95" HQ kit that would work in an '06. Or I'd sell that too and go HQ 103" in an '07...
Man I'm confused... whataya all think?

Hey Fish, you did a real nice job with your bike, it looks awesome. I personally ride about 50% of the time without a windshield and I like that option. If you are really not sure what to do, I would hold off for a while. It's a bad time to be selling a bike.

Just traded my 06 Road King for a new EG Classic. After 600 miles I'm happy with my decision. I got the Classic because it was only 20.00 more than the Street Glide and I got passing lights and a tour pak. I kept my custom front fender from the Road King and I'm thinking of putting it on the classic and removing the Saddle bag Gaurds. The tour pak is detachable. For right now I'm just riding and enjoying.

I couldn't understand why you'd want to get the SG, then I saw you're riding a Custom. I'd ride what I wanted to ride and say "D*mn the torpedoes!", if I were you...

Personally, I'm not a big fan of havin' a big fairing in front of me. I like the fact that on the Road King, I can look down and see the ground, rather than a bunch of guages and a radio. I considered the Street Glide, but I like the Road King more. Street Glides are nice bikes, though.
