i am tired of searchin for an answer. i want to get either the mutaza tour pack or somthing similar to that. what do i need to attach this to my 2007 road king classic. either quick releaseor permanentattachment. anybody have this setup and what did you do?
thank you.
I've got the Mahatzu (sp?) aftermarket tour pac and it works quite well with either a permanent or detachable HD mount. I used the detachable mount and have the bike setup so I can use a sissy bar/rack combo around town and the tourpac on trips. The quality isn't as good as a HD tourpac, but it works just fine for my use.
i have the detachable backrest now. is that what i need to get for this to work. just the hardware?i also want to be able to change from the backrest tot he pak at any given time
Heres an old thread with some good info,I have been saving it cause I wanted to do something also. Today I just ordered the HD Tour Pak with all the goodies.
